Welcome to the new design. I’ve been working on this like non-stop for the past week, and I am pleased with the results. I’ve written more about the design on the about page. Let me just say a few things because I am really tired.

For one, here is some of my design inspiration.
justwatchthesky.com and
shauninman.com

Those websites are just plain awesome. I’ve learned alot throughout this design, and just overall become better. I’ve been paying attention to colors and gradients and layout and all sorts of things. One really notable change for this design is the use of sIFR which is a Flash replacement tool. I have used it for the post titles as well as the navigation system.

Notice the big ol box up there? Yeah, that’s my new little spotlight section. I’ll be putting up graphics and photos and all sorts of fun stuff up there. To get info on that particular photo or whatever it may be, just click the little “info” in the top right. For now I am welcoming you to the new design.

In closing, I still have a few things to clean up. For one the archives are odd looking, and I really want to add a search box. As for me, that is one of the most important usable features to have in a website. That’s it for now, I’m way sleepy….

I have finally updated my portfolio website: constructds.com. For a long time it has just been sitting there with a very plain template, yet now it is fancy!

I’m working on it more and more as there is always something to fix or do better with a website, yet I’m just happy to finally release this version. Enjoy!

This website scored 7.8/10 in Silktide SiteScore

I was just over reading Binary Thoughts and found SilkTide SiteScore It is a site that rates websites on Marketing, Design, Accessibility, and Experience. There is also a user rating, yet I don’t have one.

So I decided to try it out and here is what I got: 7.8 Overall Score I was really surprised to earn more than a 5. I guess I’m doing okay. I was actually really excited to see that I received a 9.7 for the Design category.

I would not like to introduce you to SinCity.Adion44.com - A fan website dedicated to Frank Millers Sin City graphic novels. After looking at my bandwidth skyrocket from about 250mbs per month to about 3 gb’s all in the past two weeks because I am hosting a Sin City Movie trailer, I decided to create a little fansite to calm the masses. Right now you can view the Comic Con trailer for the 2005 film as well as purchase Frank Millers Sin City books via Amazon.com

Go check it out! www.SinCity.Adion44.com

I’ve put together (finally) an online store for my little ebay/e-company selling vintage motocross stuff. I like to call it Black Racing. Catchy and easy to remember eh? I thought so too. I’m still working on putting together a better design, yet whats up will do for now. Check it out if you wish. I’ll be putting up new products more and more. Things such as old vintage motocross jerseys and waaaay old vintage jeans and corduroys. I have an excess of this stuff so I’m trying to make a little money off of all this product.

I was just seeing if any readers have any good ideas for a new domain name address (www.something.com) for this site. I’ve been wanting to move to a sing domain name for this weblog for a little while now, and just wanted to get some input from readers. I have some thoughts, and don’t be offended if I don’t pick yours. Leave a comment. Reasonable ones only please. Thanks.

I’ve decided to contribute a small part to the wordpress community by downloading the latest nightly version and testing it out. Thus I present On The Edge - development weblog of sorts. Mostly just a place for testing of the Wordpress blogging system. The current version I am testing is Version 1.3 released 7-28-04. This weblog right here right now is running the latest stable version 1.2.

wordpress

So far, things are going well. There are more details over there so check it out at least to see the cool design that I implemented, yet did not design.

For the other readers that are not technical types and have no idea what I’m talking about, I posted a picture for you to enjoy.
