I’ve known about Upcoming.org for a long long time… yet never really had any use for it. Till now, and it’s the coolest thing ever. So I decided to throw a “badge” in the sidebar so you know what’s up, and all the really cool things I’ll be going to.
Get your own and be my friend! ..? haha
To all, Happy Thanksgiving.
I also turned 21 yesterday. yayaya!
After getting lunch at Panda Express, I finish eating my main course and move onto the fortune cookie. The funny part is I thought to myself, “better be a good one…” as I am opening it. So I pull it out and it says:
You will soon make a long, overdue decision
I then think to myself, well wow, thanks! There are tons of things I’ve thought about doing for long(ish) periods of time. It’s funny how fortunes are somewhat specific, but not really. Kinda annoying if you ask me.
I then just started thinking about that comma after “long.” Is that supposed to be there? When I read it, it makes me sudo pause at the comma, then move on. I’d rather just read it “long overdue.”
Eh whatever, I don’t really believe in these things anyways. I just thought it was funny.
I realized that it has been quite some time since I have posted anything. I’ve been quite on the busy side. It goes like this: work, school, work, school, work some more… weekend = goodtimes away from the computer most of the time.
This week was quite on the wild side for me and I enjoyed it all. Lets do a day rundown again just because I like making lists.
Wednesday: Worked then off to San Diego. Met up with friends (Daniel, Zac, Josh, and I) and went to the Jason Mraz show at SOMA. James Blunt opened for him who was way awesome. (more music later) Made it back to Josh’s place eventually to fall asleep.
Thursday: A day of creating costumes. Daniel and I were working on his Waldo costume which turned out awesome on Friday. Just hung out most of the night, watched Batman Begins.
Friday: A day of finalizing costumes then off to the night… Party party party. Awesome times with all the friends. (I’ll try to find pictures but I didn’t take any) I could tell many stories of this night, but that would take to long for me to type, so I’ll just say, it was wayyy fun. On a side note, I was Raoul Duke, played by Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Saturday: Relaxing until about 3pm when I was finally able to get up and head over to the spa with Sean. Met up with Zac for some dinner then off into the night again… There were two parties we went too, both kinda odd in there own ways. I drove us to each and watched all the great costumes around SDSU. We headed over to a friends by the the stadium then eventually all back to somewhere to sleep.
Sunday: Watched the Chargers beat Chiefs with Sean, Lucas and Cameron as usual on gamedays. Then I head off back up to Pomona. I get to my apartment and spend enough time unloading my car and getting ready to go to the next thing: We Are Scientists at the Troubadour. Awesome show, sooo happy I went. I headed out to Hollywood alone but remembered my friend Randy lived out there so it was cool he came to the show with me. I really like those guys and expect them to get big soon. I actually like them so much I have bought the cd from the UK since it isn’t out until January here; I also bought a shirt last night.
Well that’s the short version. Overall I’m enjoying all my times away from the computer, which seem to be alot. Have a happy Halloween!
So far here we go.
Thursday - usual goodtimes on a thursday night hanging out with friends.
Friday - Trip to Newport, took some photos, awesome. (they’ll be up soon) Then headed down to San Diego to hangout with a bunch of friends the rest of the night.
Saturday - Wake up, Cameron, Sean, and I decide to head up to have lunch in Laguna Beach. Way fun eating good food and being in a beautiful place. We then head back down to San Diego in some traffic. Watched the end of the very intense USC vs. Notre Dame college football game. USC won, yes!
Which brings me to right now. So I’m gonna go head out into the night and enjoy an awesome evening in San Diego.
Pictures to come.
Once again I didn’t go home most of the weekend, regardless of the fact that I was in San Diego. Just slept at other peoples places. It’s not that I don’t love home, it’s that I’m usually a 15 minute drive away from home when I’m out with all the friends.
My good friend Zac turned 21 this past week and so naturally we partied this weekend. Quite a party over at his brothers house. Lots of best friends / good friends / friends / old friends / random people. Which all of that usually causes drama, and it did. Yet I wouldn’t have it any other way. Life is just that exciting.
Recently I’ve come to terms that I’m really young, and could take advantage of life more, so I am… and it’s going great. I’m actually really happy in light of a few recent personal events in this last month of September. Septembers have been like that for me the last couple years… just kind of an odd month. Either way, life is exciting and so worth living, regardless of anything that comes up. Good things make you happy, bad things make you sad, it’s a cycle. An awesome cycle.
Oh yes, I purchased a 2006 Scion tC 2 weeks ago. I love that car.

Ohhhh how time flies. This was a fantastic day down in San Diego recently. That night started off with the pink clouds and such a beautiful sky. Then there was lightening everywhere. Brittany and I drove around San Diego, mainly Pacific Beach to find a good place to watch. I drove to Kate Sessions park, yet the lightening seemed to be everywhere else. We stayed atop the hill for awhile and I took some photos. [View HERE, and HERE] It rained a tiny bit which was refreshing. Enjoy the photos.
School starts today. I’m happy that everybody is around again, not happy to be doing school. That’s life for ya. This is yet another year, and just like the rest, this one will be different. I don’t know specifically how… but I suppose it’s time for change again.
Here is another post of a “change” theme…. Whew

That is what it looks like at my apartment, yet I’m in San Diego right now… it’s kinda raining but last night I could see lightening all over the sky. Light bursting int he sky all around you. Kinda reminded me of some war movies where there are always explosions in the distance.
Right now I love this weather, it’s a change from the hot summer right into fall.
Well this summer has been awesome and sucked at the same time. Some things are changing around in my life and it’s all the best, I think. You don’t really know how change will be till you changed. Summer took it’s toll on in a few different ways, yet I am looking forward to this school year.
Some things, cause lists are fun:
School starts in a little over a week.
It is my third year in college.
I turn 21 in 2 months.
My personal life is kinda crazy, yet good. (I miss the gf)
I have two jobs, we’ll see how that works going back to fulltime school.
I should be getting my new car next month.
My good friend Brian is getting married! (Congrats Brian!)
I like living/being anywhere from Orange County down to San Diego, not here in Los Angeles.
I’m becoming inspired and dedicated for media projects all over again.
Christmas is in 3 months.
Summer is in 9 months.
I want to travel really bad, and/or live by the beach.
Well that is that.
