Looks pretty awesome… Just another movie that *might* (hopefully) be good in 2005.
Check out the trailer for Batman Begins
I just finished watching the movie Donnie Darko, and I must say it is one of the best films I have watched recently. The story is absolutely amazing to me for one reason. It makes you think. I havn’t watched a movie in awhile that I’m still thinking about over 15 minutes that is has been over.
The effects are awesome, the characters were perfect, the music was astounding, and the setting and scenes were phenomenal. Can’t you tell I liked it? It’s one of those perfect stories and endings that you don’t like, yet it is the best ending. To tell you the truth, I don’t really know what to write about it because there is so much to get. This was just my first time watching it and I wouldn’t be surprised if I watch it again this week. For now, if you have seen the film, check out this website for a bunch of added information.

The Punisher(2004) was an awesome movie. It does not break away from the real original story of the Punisher Marvel comics, which is a real plus for me.
The story is very good as all of you may or may not know. Simple yet good : Bad guys kill Punishers family (whole family mind you) , Punisher nearly dies yet is nurtured back to life by some witch doctor type guy, Punisher then begins his pursuit of justice, which is killing everybody who killed his family, thus making him The Punisher. There is lots and lots of pretty crazy fighting. Not a whole lot of special effects, just brute force. One of my favorite “fights,” I say that because The Punisher doesn’t really fight, he just wrecks people… back to my favorite fight. It was towards the end of the movie when he takes quite the large knife, twists the other dudes arm around and sticks the knife through the guys hand into his thigh. Ouch. Oh yeah, then he just shoved another knife through the guys chin, through his mouth, and up into his nose area. Ouch again.
Overall a very good action flick.

Last night I watched The Big Lebowski for the first time. I don’t know why I havn’t seen this movie before because it’s such an awesome movie. Now pay attention to why I say it’s awesome. The movie does not have spectacular cinematography, or even that great of dialogue, but what it does have is an awesome story. A story that is so bazaar you almost wish it had happened to you, or maybe not.
It’s the characters that you love in the movie and their interaction with each other. The “Dude” (Jeff Bridges) walks around in haggard clothes drinking white russians, which he refers to as “caucasians.” Then there is Walter (John Goodman) is always dressed like he is ready to go hunting and is always shouting off references to Vietnam. Then there is Donny (Steve Buscemi) who never really gets to talk all that much except for when Walter tells him to “Shut the F#*& up” It’s really a beautiful trio of disfunction. The whole movie is filled with random scenes following a “story” yet to tell you the truth, there is not much of a plot.
When it comes down to it, after you have watched the movie, you will think “Wow, that was a cool movie” yet you won’t really know what it was about.

I would not like to introduce you to SinCity.Adion44.com - A fan website dedicated to Frank Millers Sin City graphic novels. After looking at my bandwidth skyrocket from about 250mbs per month to about 3 gb’s all in the past two weeks because I am hosting a Sin City Movie trailer, I decided to create a little fansite to calm the masses. Right now you can view the Comic Con trailer for the 2005 film as well as purchase Frank Millers Sin City books via Amazon.com
Go check it out! www.SinCity.Adion44.com

Found a trailer for the movie Sin City or IMDB info It has so many cool actors/actresses in it that I like. For instance, Clive Owen, and Benicio Del Toro to name my favorites. I havn’t read Frank Millers stuff, yet I really want to because the movie looks awesome. It’s coming out in 2005, and I’m sure will be at the top of the box office, or at least I hope so for as many big stars it has in it. The style of the movie is one that I’ve always loved. It has the dark feel with certain objects in alot of focus. Overall, I’m just really excited to see this film

I saw Alien vs. Predator today. I will be honest. It was a cool action flick. Some nice alien on predator action (hmm sounds gross…) anyways the story lacks a little bit. Basically this movie is all about the action. There is no real “movie stars” in this film except for maybe the Predators or the Aliens which most of us have seen before. There wasn’t a whole lot of techno-widgetry like I would like, just raw action. The ending was supposed to “tie together” the Alien and Predator films, yet it’s pretty freaking far fetched. I mean, common! How is the one freaking baby alien supposed to kill off a whole humongous ship of Predators in order for it to crash and way later in the future for Sigourney Weaver and friends to find them? It was just too far fetched for me. Other than a few plot and story issues (which there is really nothing to talk about) the movie had good special effects and just the sheer coolness of the Predator. (I’ve always like the Predator over Aliens) So with that, check it out in the theatre if you would like to see it on the big screen and hear all the good audio effects. If not, wait to rent.
My Rating: 7 of 10 (Would have been 6 except I liked the action)

After randomly finding the movie on Jason Santa Maria’s weblog I decided to check the movie out. I found the official website and watched the trailers for the first time, then watched them again over at the Apple trailers section. Now that info is out of the way, on to my thoughts.
First of all, after watching the trailer with only film and songs(nobody talked) I instantly wanted to see the film. I loved how the songs and cinematography went together perfectly. I wanted to see it as soon as possible. It’s quite odd how a trailer would have that effect on you. That was on Thursday night, and I wasn’t able to see it until Friday. It is only playing at two theatres in San Diego because it’s one of those smaller indie like films. To begin, Zach Braff (most known from Scrubs) wrote and directed and acted as the lead character in this film. Just on that aspect, he’s freaking awesome. He also acted along side Natalie Portman who played quite well.

I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead looks awesome. Clive Owen is one of my favorite actors for the last couple years since I found bmwfilms.com I wish it was playing around me. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to see it. Anyways, check out the trailer
My initial thoughts on the movie are, “Tom Cruise is cool, yet creepy and odd looking with silver hair.” I saw the movie Collateral just a couple days ago with Rachel, and it was quite the entertaining movie. Jamie Foxx does really well in one of his first really big movies. I don’t want to give away anything, so don’t read this entry too much if you don’t want to know too much of what happens.
