I saw Sin City tonight with the girlfriend and a few other friends. It was awesome to say the least. I’ve been tracking and waiting for this movie since about September… at least that’s when I started sincity.adion44.com.Which is a little fan site/blog that I put together.
Seriously, it’s amazing in alot of ways. I’m curious as to what other people have to say. I think many will find it confusing, yet the effects and filming is amazing. Of course you can go over to my Sin City fan site for a little bit more info.

I have to say that sin city has blown me away with its incredible cinematography, character development and awesome action. Film schools will be studying this movie for years. The way a movie can be in black and white and still use color with such depth is amazing. I have to say I don’t go back to see a movie in theaters often but this is defiantly a repeater. I have been salivating for a good dark action film for a while now and this is just the thing to sate my appetite.

I found it repetitious but briefly satisfying — like another teen male indulgence.
If Andy Warhol did this, he’d have shown severed body parts wriggling in the characters’ hands, flailing in flight, or flopping on wet pavement. He’d have lingered too long on the appalling. That might not have turned us on. Yet.

SIN CITY WAS AN AMAZING MOVIE, DEFINITELY WORKED ITS WAY TO MY TOP FIVE. IT WAS BEAUTIFULLY DONE, AND QUINTON’S INFLUENCE WAS BEAUTIFULLY SHOWN.
