My initial thoughts on the movie are, “Tom Cruise is cool, yet creepy and odd looking with silver hair.” I saw the movie Collateral just a couple days ago with Rachel, and it was quite the entertaining movie. Jamie Foxx does really well in one of his first really big movies. I don’t want to give away anything, so don’t read this entry too much if you don’t want to know too much of what happens.

The movie had a few little twists that the trailer unfortunately gave away. For example when Jamie Foxx throws the briefcase off of the bridge onto the freeway. Okay, it doesn’t really give it away. The plot is nothing intense or deep, yet I was entertained by the amount of dialogue between Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx in the taxi cab. The movie to me was just watching and going on a ride this one night “that started like any other night.”. Just had to throw in a cheesy line from the trailer. The ride became a little intense at parts, and then ended a little unexpectedly, but hey, the bad guy doesn’t win right? Or at least not all the time. One of the main things that I liked about the movie was that there was closure, and good closure. Everything came full circle and ended with no loose ends. Oh yeah, and the good guy gets the girl! Overall I really enjoyed the movie. This and the Bourne Supremacy have been the latest movies I’ve watched, and to tell you the truth I like The Bourne Supremacy over Collateral, yet it’s still a good flick.
