So july hasn’t been the best month for me, this year, or last. Here’s the story. We’ll start with last year, the weekend of july 4th, 2003. I go to the beach with my girlfriend of then, and friend of now Rachel, and also friend Linnea. We go to Torrey Pines beach here in San Diego and have a great timel. Well, being as white as I am, I got sunburned. So that’s no big deal usually, yet later that day, we go back to Rachels house, and for whatever reason decide to do the SlipNSlide. BAD IDEA. I knew I was sunburned yet decided to just do it a couple times with a shirt on, fully knowing that my chest was pretty burned. That choice was pobably one of the dumbest I’ve ever made.
A few minutes later, I started about a 6 hour journey of the worst pain I have ever felt in my life.(so far in my 19 years of living.) It turns out, my chest being burned, my skin was already sensative, and thus the hard ground and slip n slide pretty much tore my skin off leaving me in excrusiating pain. It was like my whole chest was being stuck with needles all over, and there was nothing I could do about it. I lathered my chest with aloe and everything that could be thought of that might help. Nothing did. In fact, I was in extreme pain from about I think 3-9pm when I took half of a vicodin. That helped me out finally.

Just in case you all didn’t know, I actually have a Blogger.com Blog. I signed up just after they redesigned their site, and alot of their system so I could test it out. It turns out, I really like it. It’s super easy to use and just a pleasurable experience. I mean, really, especially since they just added this cool “what you see is what you get” editor, and I just tested it out, and wow, it’s alot of fun. Also, yes, that was a super long sentance. Anyways, go check out dan.adion44.com I like to call it dotdan just for kicks. There is a bit over there, yet alot here.
I decided to throw some more features into this site really quick like. They are the links and archives sections, as well as the handy dandy search box here on the homepage. My favorite for the moment is the links section. I’m going to be adding some more to the site this weekend. I’ll be doing that amidst mounds of homework for my summer calculus class which ends next week. Speaking of calculus, I have to head there now.
I don’t really know why, except that it needed to be done, is that this site looked like crap, and has nasty code. Thus I cleaned up the rendering issues to be cross-browser friendly, yet I didn’t clean up the markup all that much yet. As you can see I changed the look alittle, and a couple other changes. More is always to come. I really like that color blue I’m using by the way, does anybody else?
Saw this over here so I thought I would give it a try aswell. Just to see what kind of personality I am. Here is goes: click more to read the results… (continue reading…)
Just out of curiosity I decided to log into my not used at all anymore yahoo mail account. I was in for quite a surprise! It turns out that I am a “special” long time user and now I get some new stuff. Well, i’m not really special, they just give everybody 100 mbs of free email space now. I think it’s because of the whole gmail wave (that’s googles 1 gb of free e-mail storage if you didn’t know)

What an awesome fun time. Daniel Chris and I decided to take a trip down to Ensenada for the day. Let me tell you, it was lots of goodtimes. For one, the whole day, including bus fare, and eating, and parking on the US side, and paying for Daniel most of the time, I only spent $40! That’s right, only $40 for a day o fun. I don’t know why I had never gone down to Mexico before. There is tons of good places to go, and Ensenada was one of them

For the current state of this site, and how it looks in the wonderful Internet Explorer, well, it’s horrible. Everything looks wrong.
Here’s the thing, IE is prone to getting worms and all sorts of troubles. So here is the healthy alternative, Use Mozilla Firefox
It’s free, and easy to install, and doesn’t have any of the problems that Microsoft Internet Explorer has. Don’t be scared of it, it’s just a normal web browser like IE, yet way better. So just use it. You’ll be happy you did. There is built in pop-up blocking and everything. Go get it and use it It’s just and overall great product.
Chris made it down from LA today, thus we began the chill session. Smoked some a bowl of hookah, then went to hang out with all my other friends. Oh yeah, and smoke hookah. It was actually quite a large crowd tonight, seeing most of the people I hung out with in highschool. All in all, good fun. I have to remember to bring my camera with me at all times nowadays.

Well, I got a new car. For those of you who know what I drive, that being the white volvo station wagon… well I’ve upgraded. Yes, I know the wagon has aquired much love and many many names and memories, she’s not gone yet, but on with the new!
Last week I bought this 1991 bmw 318i. I was so stoked on getting this car, and I absolutely love it. I mean, it’s a bmw! Oh, and the best part, it’s a 5 speed! YEAAAAA. It’s such a fun car to drive, and gets really good gas mileage on the freeway at about 30-38 miles per gallon! That’s awesome especially since I drive between San Diego and Los Angelos during the school year. What else can I say? It has 99,000 miles on it, which isn’t bad at all for being a 91. It has a few little things that need to be done to it. All mostly asthetically pleasing things. I just love it. Check out the pictures.
