I’m getting a little depressed about this whole free ipods.com thing. It’s not because it’s fake and a scam, it’s because everybody else is getting a free ipod and I’m not. here is the article where I found out about it and proof it works.

So far I have 12 people signed up yet nobody has completed their offer. If you are one of those people, please send me an email if you offer has been completed, otherwise get on top of it! I know we can get a free ipod. So please sign up by going to my other main post so the iPod can come in the mail soon!

Thursday Night BBQ

Today was quite an interesting day. I worked from about 9-5:30 ish on various projects and then cam the fun time. I decided to put together a fun little bar-b-que at my house. I’ve done it before and it turned out good so I thought it would be fun to do it again. Overall about 12 people came and hung out for awhile. We ate, we chatted, we smoked hookah, and we watched a movie.

hambugers on tha grill

There is a photo of two of the many hamburgers I cooked on the grill. I err actually Brittany took lots of photos that I have put into an album that I will have ready very soon. She just kinda took my camera and went picture taking crazy. Which is fine with me since now I have a bunch of photos to remember the night by. It’s funny, I actually decided to do this bbq because my parents were going out of town. I also planned the other bbq when the parents were out of town. There is actually no reason to plan these little bbq’s while the parents are away because they encourage friends hanging out and whatnot. They also trust me to be responsible, so thus I am, especially when it comes to my own house, or rather their house.

Overall it was good fun. If you didn’t make it to this one, there will be others soon to come. I still have about 2 full months of summer left. More to come!

I’ve decided to contribute a small part to the wordpress community by downloading the latest nightly version and testing it out. Thus I present On The Edge - development weblog of sorts. Mostly just a place for testing of the Wordpress blogging system. The current version I am testing is Version 1.3 released 7-28-04. This weblog right here right now is running the latest stable version 1.2.

wordpress

So far, things are going well. There are more details over there so check it out at least to see the cool design that I implemented, yet did not design.

For the other readers that are not technical types and have no idea what I’m talking about, I posted a picture for you to enjoy.

Weekend to Monday

This weekend has gone by fast already. I can’t believe it’s Sunday. I guess that just goes to prove that summer and time goes by really fast, both when having fun or not. Throughout the day portion of the weekend (including Friday) I was working with my dad completely remodeling my sisters bathroom. Quite the task. Beyond that, I’ve just been hanging out.

On the list of things done while hanging out, I’ve been making some t-shirts. It looks like Adion might make some kind of comeback. I have plans that will be going into motion this week. So that’s a little hint to come back and read here for more….

Other than that, this is just one of those end of the weekend posts. I had some fun, did some weblog work and didn’t really catch up on sleep. I’ll go into more detail about the new things coming to this weblog very soon. This is about usual for a weekend. So here comes Monday. How are all of you doing today?

Last day of summer school.

So today, I can finally say that it is my last day of summer school. I’ve been taking Calculus for the last 8 weeks, or more like 7 because I came into the class late. It has been a very busy and quick month and a half. Whoa, I just realized a month and a half of summer has gone by. What have I done? Worked, school, and the whole hanging out with friends bit. It has been great, but now it’s time for more of the work and hanging out with friends part for the rest of the summer.

So that is that, in about an hour and half I’ll be knee deep into my Calculus final. I don’t think it will be too bad since for one, we get to use 6 5×8inch notecards, and two, our calculators, and three, it’s multiple choice. I’m sure it’ll go fine… I hope. On to the rest of summer!

g4 ipod, for free!

UPDATE! - Here is a link to another website with ALOT of resources showing that this is not a scam and can actually work! After looking at that website, make sure to come back here and use my link to sign up. Thanks!
link: free ipods at Forevergeek.com

Okay, so here’s the deal. When you go to freeipods.com and sign up for their program, complete one of the many offers they have, then get 5 other people to do the same thing, they send you and ipod. You say, what’s the catch? So far, I haven’t found one. After looking around the web and finding out that this has actually worked for alot of people so it’s a legit program.

But seriously, a free ipod you ask? Yes a free new ipod, even the new 4th generation iPods or an iPod mini! I’m really anxious to see if this works. I just need 5 people to sign up from my link and then they send me an iPod.

This is the actually design that I was originally planning on using. The last one was just a temp that I was actually quite fond of, but it was time to go. I put quite a bit of thought into the code for this design, as I do more and more when I design websites. Here is short write up of a few things about the design.

Lived through some mileage.

I have lived through two great events in the life of a car. One was today, or rather yesterday when my car hit the 100,000 mile marker. I was like “whoa cool!” and that was about it. You see, I bought the car with about 99,400 on it, so it was no big deal that i broke 100,000 except for the fact it’s really cool to see that many zero’s all at one time.

I also say “no big deal” because last summer my Volvo hit the 300,000 mile mark. Yeah. 300,000 That is alot. Most people living today ever see a car with a mileage as high as that. I bought that car at 255,000 miles so it was a well deserved 300,000. That car has lasted me like no other. The night that I knew I would hit 300,000 miles, I drove it up and down the street until I parked in the driveway right when it spun to 300,000. I took a picture, yet since it was a film camera I have no clue where that picture is as of now. So there it is. Have any of you readers seen your car or maybe even any car hit the 100,000’s?

On a side note, my sickness has subsided for the time being. Now onto my last week of Calculus summer class!

Why was there no chicken in my chicken and noodle soup? Really, why? I like chicken. Also, since it’s called “Chicken and Noodle” soup, I would hope there would be some chicken. Yet I was very wrong.
